Sales Tax

We collect sales tax for orders shipped only within the state of NC. If your order is shipped to anywhere other than NC, you may still be liable for Usage Tax in your state (check your state's Department of Revenue website for more information).

NC has a General Rate and a Local Rate, which together make the Combined Rate.

Current Combined Rate: 6.75%
Exceptions: 6 counties have a 7% Combined Rate, as follows:

Alexander
Catawba
Martin
Pitt
Sampson
Surry

One county, Mecklenburg, has a 7.25% Combined Rate.

Sales taxes are automatically calculated based on the shipping address, and will be displayed before you submit your order. If our automated calculator makes an error in your sales tax, we may adjust your sales tax higher or lower to be in compliance with the current applicable rates.
